Blessings on a blue day

My life had been screaming for a recalibration of late.
Today in particular was one of those days.
Somewhere between wine and yoga, I'd lost my way
And that perhaps the only way back home, was out.

I didn't expect good news. But it came.
And
Everything is, as it should be.

A tune in my head

I was driving home through our leafy street this afternoon
The sun hidden behind dappled light
A place where bunnies still run upright
If I could bottle this
I would sniff it everyday.

Everything is as it should be.

And when words still fail you

F l y.

They say I'm now all lightness and calm.

Dark can never become light, perhaps only for a while.

Let the river take you where it wants to

We assume there will be a tomorrow
For sure we will never know. It doesn't yet exist today.
Such uncertainty is the beauty of life.
